The 6-foot-3 senior became Michigan girls basketball’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder. During a 71-34 victory over Indian River Inland Lakes High, Hines broke the state record of 2,732 points, which was held by Stephanie Hass of Harbor Springs Harbor Light Christian School. One week earlier she grabbed her 1,534th rebound breaking the record held by Liz Shimek of Maple City Glen Lake High. Hines, a four-sport athlete, is the defending state champion in the shot put and led her volleyball team in kills.  She is averaging 28.8 points and 15.6 rebounds for the state’s top-ranked Class D team. The Michigan State University signee also is co-valedictorian in her class with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
